Emma Stevens -Johnson
Accent, Dialect and Voice Coaching since 2004
All About Me
My interest lies in understanding how our vocal habits are shaped by our experiences. Through years of experience, I've developed a unique approach to working with the voice that considers both the body and the brain. This approach informs my practice, but I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all teaching approach. As a coach, I've had the privilege of working with diverse individuals from different backgrounds, and I take pride in tailoring my approach to suit each client's individual needs. My goal is to apply my knowledge in a way that is most effective for you.
Since 2002, I have been honing my skills in accent coaching, and in 2004, I proudly earned my MA from Royal Central in London. In 2008, I furthered my education by completing a PGCE from Cardiff University. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching in diverse places and institutions. During my time as a voice coach I have worked throughout Wales and England as a Lecturer in Voice, including The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, Cardiff University and Swansea Met University, University of South Wales and Trinity College St David's .
